| COMMENTS: | Absorption measurements over the wavelength range of 165−300 nm using a single-beam apparatus consisting of a 1 m vacuum monochromator equipped with a 600 lines/mm grating. The radiation source was a Hamamatsu L1385 deuterium lamp, and the detector was a Hamamatsu R166 photomultiplier. Spectra were recorded at increments of 0.5 nm at a spectral slit width of 0.5 nm. The sample pressure between 2.7 Pa (0.02 Torr) and 45.3 kPa (340 Torr) was used to obtain the entire absorption spectrum. Absorption cross sections at 2-nm intervals as listed in Table 2 |
